Penguin Surprise (Created by Lisa Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

Come join our monthly challenge...and you could be the next winner of two High Hopes Stamps of your choice.  The details for the November Challenge can be found here.  The challenge runs through November 30th.

Happy Saturday Friends!  For today's post, I decided on a Step Card for my layout.

This is Penguin Surprise (SS005) and Bold Merry Christmas Sentiment (G105).  Such a fun image to colour!!!

I started by colouring the image with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I applied some Glossy Accents on the Penguin's beak and Christmas ornament.  Frosted Lace Stickles were added to the fur on the hat and on the pompom.

The image was cut out and layered using Spellbinder-circle dies.  The pattern paper is from Bo Bunny-Sleigh Ride 6x6 Paper Pad, along with some black, blue and white cardstock.  Foam tape was applied to raise the main image, to add a bit of dimension.  For the sentiment, a versamark ink pad along with black embossing powder was used.  To complete this card, a few silver pearls were added to the sentiment area, and silver elastic cord was added above and below the image.

Supplies Used:
Ink - Tombow Markers - N35, N55, N75, N79, 535, 245, and 905.  Versamark Ink Pad, Black Embossing Powder.

PaperBo Bunny-Sleigh Ride 6x6 Paper Pad; SU Black, Blue, and White Cardstock.

Misc - Cherry Lynn Designs-Step Card #1 Die, Spellbinders-Circle Dies, Silver Elastic Cord, Glossy Accents, Frosted Lace Stickles, Silver Pearls, Water BrushFoam Tape, and Glue Dots.

Thanks for stopping by!
