Two Peas In a Pod (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

It's Friday and the last day of September already!  I have one final baby card from this month's Baby Boom Release to share with you today.  Be sure to stop by the High Hopes Website tomorrow as the Winter/Fall Fun New Release will be available.  There are some fabulous new stamps coming out, just in time for Halloween and Christmas!  Come check them all out...

This is Two Peas In a Pod (SS019) and Like Two sentiment (HH028).  Such an adorable image to say the least!

To start, I used a piece of watercolour paper and a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  To colour the main image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  After the colouring was finished and dry, glossy accents were applied on the little girl's hair bow. The image was cut using a Spellbinders Petite Ovals Small Die.  The Spellbinders Petite Ovals Large die was used to cut a piece of SU Pretty In Pink cardstock to layer it.

For the card base, I decided on a piece of SU Garden Green cardstock. SU White and Pretty In Pink cardstock was cut for the layering pieces on the card base.  The designer papers are from MFT-Trail Mix and Echo Park-Bundle of Joy, A New Addition 6x6 Paper Pads.  The sentiment was heat embossed with SU Wild Wasabi Embossing Powder. A strip of SU Blushing Bride Ribbon was added behind the main image, separating the two different designer papers.  Foam tape was used to adhere both the image and sentiment for some added dimension.  A couple of mini clothes pegs were attached to the sentiment - similar to baby clothes hanging on a clothes line.  To complete this card, three YNS gumdrops were added.

I have decided to step down from the Design Team for now, in order to pursue some other interests and schooling.  This has been a tough decision, but I do hope to occasionally stop by as a guest and share some of my creations when time allows for this.  I would like to thank Lora for being so supportive and motivating during my time on the team.  To the entire Design Team, it was a pleasure to meet and get to know you all.  I wish each of you all the best and hope to see more of your creativity in the future.  Thank you all for making me feel so welcome and part of this amazing team!

Baby Hedgehog Bath (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

TGIF!!!  And for those lucky people attending ScrapFest in Richmond Hill, Ontario this weekend - I sure hope you all enjoy the show and get a chance to visit the OCS/High Hopes Stamps Booth!

Here is another card that I have created using some of the new stamps from the recent Baby Boom Release...

This is Baby Hedgehog Bath (SS021) and Ten Little Phrase sentiment (LL001).  Such an adorable image!

To start, I used a piece of watercolour paper and a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  To colour the main image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  After the colouring was finished and dry, glossy accents were applied on the hedgehog's nose, bath lather and bubbles.  A Wink of Stella-yellow glitter pen was added on the little towel to add some sparkle.  For the hedgehog's hair, Fun Flocks-dark chocolate was glued on.  This helped to make the little guy fuzzy!  The image was cut using a MFT Stitched Circle Die and also the same die was used to cut a piece of SU Chocolate Chip cardstock to layer it.

For the card base, I decided on a piece of SU Chocolate Chip cardstock. SU Bashful Blue cardstock was cut for the background, then dry embossed using a Tim Holtz Bubbles Embossing Folder.  I used a white ink pad with a sponge dauber to colour the raised bubbles.  The designer paper is from Doodlebug-Snips & Snails 6x6 Paper Pad.  The sentiment phrase was heat embossed with Stampendous-Ice Blue embossing enamel. I just love the little bit of shimmer and shine this gives to the words.  A MFT Stitched Fishtail Flag die was used to cut the phrase and foam tape was applied to help make it pop out a bit and add some dimension.  To complete this card, a bunch of YNS gumdrops were added.

Crawling Baby Boy Slider Card (Created by Jane Z.)

Hello High Hopes Fans!!!

It's a Baby Boom Release Day and Blog Hop!  Here's a cute baby slider card to share with you using an image from the new release...

With the baby boy in action and on the move...

This is Crawling Baby Boy (RR006) and Precious Little One sentiment (HH023).  Such an adorable image and boy oh boy, can that baby move!!! lol!

To start, I used a piece of watercolour paper and a Versamark Ink Pad to stamp the image and background (using my Misti Stamping Tool) then applied Black Embossing Powder on the ink and heated it.  To colour the main image, Tombow Markers and water were used.  Once this had dried, I proceeded to fussy cut the image.

For the card base, I decided on a piece of SU Chocolate Chip cardstock. The designer papers are from Doodlebug - Snips & Snails 6x6 Paper Pad.  YNS Stitched Rectangle dies were used to cut the layering piece and designer paper.  A MFT die set called Surf & Turf  was used to create the slider part of the card.  This set included the two round pieces needed to create the moving image.  I also used a MFT - Spin and Slide disc to be able to sandwich it in between the two small round cut pieces and attach the baby boy to the card.  Foam tape was used under the printed designer paper to raise the piece in between, to enable the image to slide easier. The sentiment was stamped with versamark ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Foam tape was used to adhere the sentiment, along with a mini button from my stash.  To complete this card, a few strips of Doodlebug Twine - Bon Bon, and three brown YNS gumdrops were added.

Happy hopping on the Blog Hop to see all the talented divas creativity with these new stamp images being released today!  Let me tell you, it is quite a cute and adorable release that you don't want to miss!!!
